RE: Candlelight Vigil for Quvonta Ratliff (18)
We Are Not Afraid.
We are not afraid. There will be a victory march for Mrs. Ratliff’s son, Quvonta Ratliff. Yes, her beloved son, a student at Ohio State University, was shot down on the streets of East 179 and Larchmont as he drove his girlfriend home. His car crashed into another car while he was mortally wounded.
Although his mother is very frightened to go on the street where her son was murdered, she will put down her fears and march down the street with many family members, friends and those who will come and support her because it is the right thing to do. Whether it is in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sutherland Springs, Texas, Charleston, South Carolina, or on a lonely street in Collinwood, the cowardly thugs and murderers must know that they cannot win.
Therefore, we are inviting the whole community to come out and join the victory march on behalf of my son, Quvonta Ratliff. We will start on the corner of East 179 & St. Clair. There is parking available in the school parking lot. We will march a couple blocks to where my son lost his life and boldly cry out for justice.
We will have a candlelight vigil in honor of Quvonta Ratliff.
