RE: Candlelight Vigil for Demar Jackson (31)

We will meet with another grieving family and friends because another young man was murdered. Mr. Jackson was very involved with his family and church, loved his nieces, and worked hard for his family. He was a decent human being. He was murdered on Christmas Eve very close to where a 12 year old boy was killed a little while ago. He was just walking down the street.
His mother and grandmother are very distraught and even though it is very cold, she and other family members and friends are going to gather for a candlelight vigil where Demar was killed so they can remember the son and grandson. They are taking a stand against mindless violence and are asking for help from their neighbors in the community to find out who murdered Demar Jackson.
Join us as we try to bring some comfort to Demar’s family and friends.

Candlelight Vigil for Kameron Westbrook (20)

RE: Candlelight Vigil for Kameron J.Westbrook (20)

If the everyone would cease the old tradition of firing guns to celebrate the new year, we believe that gun violence would be reduced by nearly 25%. Joining us in our plea to cease gun fire on New Year’s Eve will be the mother of 20 year old Kameron J. Westbrook. Her son was killed on Christmas Day by gun fire as he walked to his grandmother’s house. Kameron was a hard working college student without any criminal record. The last thing this mother wanted to hear was more gun shots. It’s the last thing anyone in our neighborhoods wants to hear on New Year’s Eve.
Kameron’s mother will give a heartfelt plea to stop the cowardly, senseless violence. She has been living in the neighborhood for a long time and understands how dangerous our neighborhoods have become. She emphasized this to her son many times. Kameron didn’t do anything wrong. He went to work and school. At his young age, he had several degrees. Even though his mom didn’t want him walking and would rather have driven him, he felt that he should be able to walk in his own neighborhood. Sadly, his mother’s intuition was right. She lost her son on Christmas Day, killed by a cowardly driveby shooter spraying bullets.
Every New Year’s Eve, beginning around 11:30 pm until after midnight, gunfire usually erupts followed by gun shots from larger caliber weapons. Whenever there is a significant amount of gunfire on New Year’s Eve, there seems to be a comparative increase in homicides.
Sprayed and stray bullets have no eyes and have maimed and killed many people. Just ask the mothers. Just ask Kameron’s mother.
Join us as we meet with family and friends of Kameron Westbrook to remember his short life and try to comfort each other.

RE: ENDANGERED MISSING GIRL – Darnashja Reid (12)

ENDANGERED
SEXUAL PREDATORS, ILLEGAL PICTURES ON INTERNET

Darnasja was with two other teenagers and their parents are afraid that they are in danger of being taken to Detroit. The young ladies may be somewhere within Cleveland or Akron. This may be a case of human trafficking. A sexual predator is putting explicit pictures on the internet. If these young girls end up in Detroit or elsewhere, they could disappear.
Darnasja’s mother is worried sick about her daughter and wants to bring her home so she can be safe and get some help. Please help us by circulating her picture throughout the media and neighborhoods. Detective Demario, of the South Euclid Police Department, is also asking for the public’s help in finding Darnasja.

RE: Christmas Party for Grieving Children
sponsored by the Ohio Cleveland Remembrance Page

Many times there are individuals in our community who we call unsung heroes or sheroes who are never recognized. They don’t seek recognition or seek out gratitude or being glorified in just doing the work. Let’s take for instance Sada Tunstall who has established the Ohio Cleveland Remembrance Page. She does it to for the community with love and dedication and has a great following.
Without her knowing it, we would like or you to come as she gives away lots of toys to children who are grieving the loss of a loved parent, brother or sister, or other family member. Santa will be there. Games will be played. There will be food for the children. Again, she is shy with the media but let’s give her recognition on Saturday at the Xmas Party for Grieving Children.
Let’s also bring love to the Grieving Children. Come and join us. If you have a gift for the children, bring that too. Help us make this a fun day for the children.

RE: Candlelight Vigil for Israel Castro (18)

Home invasions are one of the worst crimes to hit our community and are one the rampage again. There have been two home invasions in one week’s time which have left two people dead — a victim and an alleged perpetrator.
We will gather with the family and friends if Israel Castro who was a handsome young man, a hard worker with two jobs, and who was truly trying to come up in life the right way but was killed in a home invasion. The cowardly perps broke into the family’s house with the children and mother upstairs in an attempt to rob Israel of the paychecks that he worked for and killed him, terrorizing this family’s home and destroying their Christmas tranquility.
We will come together with his Mother, sister, other family members, friends and other Euclid High School students to remember Israel. Everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted to help with the burial expenses.
We come in peace and we will leave in peace.

Mr. Clements was a family man and was very involved with his children.
Please join us as we gather to remember Douglas Clements. We will also take up a donation to give to the family to help some with the burial costs.

Candlelight Vigil for Quvonta Ratliff (18)

WHERE: 1485 Larchmont (off E. 179 & St. Clair)
WHEN: Wednesday, 11.15.17, 4 pm
RE: Candlelight Vigil for Quvonta Ratliff (18)

We Are Not Afraid.

We are not afraid. There will be a victory march for Mrs. Ratliff’s son, Quvonta Ratliff. Yes, her beloved son, a student at Ohio State University, was shot down on the streets of East 179 and Larchmont as he drove his girlfriend home. His car crashed into another car while he was mortally wounded.
Although his mother is very frightened to go on the street where her son was murdered, she will put down her fears and march down the street with many family members, friends and those who will come and support her because it is the right thing to do. Whether it is in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sutherland Springs, Texas, Charleston, South Carolina, or on a lonely street in Collinwood, the cowardly thugs and murderers must know that they cannot win.
Therefore, we are inviting the whole community to come out and join the victory march on behalf of my son, Quvonta Ratliff. We will start on the corner of East 179 & St. Clair. There is parking available in the school parking lot. We will march a couple blocks to where my son lost his life and boldly cry out for justice.
We will have a candlelight vigil in honor of Quvonta Ratliff.
