This is not any ordinary celebration as we commemorate the removal of the cameras in Cleveland.  Join us at East 105 & St. Clair Avenue to honor the removal of the cameras.

Thousands of people from all over the country converged on the nation’s capitol Saturday, calling for an end to police brutalityjustice for all

Protesters marched the streets of Washington, D.C., upset over confrontations that have killed young men nationwide, including Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old, in Cleveland.  Sharpton says he is calling for President Obama and Congress to change laws, including allowing federal juries to hear evidence in police-involved killings. He and the thousands of marchers say relations between the police and African-Americans must change

March in Washington, DC

Join The National Action Network Greater Cleveland Chapter in D.C.

We will march in Washington, DC. against Police Brutality and stand in solidarity against Excess Police Use of Deadly Force with Tamir Rice’s Mom who will be in attendance.

The Cost is $50.

We plan on departing Cleveland at 3am Saturday morning from First Zion 10313 Garfield Ave. Next to B&M Bar-B-Cue and Strowders Funeral Home.

tamir rice motherTamir Rice’s mother wants criminal conviction, dismissal of top city staff after son’s death.  Rice spoke from Olivet Institutional Baptist Church at 11 a.m. She told reporters that her primary objective is to pursue a criminal conviction for Cleveland Police Officer Timothy Loehman, who shot Tamir at a west side playground.jeff johnson
