Bullets into Cars, Homes and Neighborhoods

Family and friends will gather where Major Howard (3) was killed by a cowardly driveby shooter spraying bullets that pierced that car he was sitting in with a friend of his mother, who was also hit by a bullet.

Peace Walk by Cleveland Job Corps Youth 2 Youth Partners 4 Peace

WHERE: East 140 & St. Clair, Cleveland, Ohio
WHEN: Thursday, 9.17.15, Assembly at 2:15 pm; March at 3:15 pm
RE: Cleveland Job Corps Youth 2 Youth Partners 4 Peace
WE CAN STOP IT!

Peace Walk

The Youth Led Peace Walk will begin at 3:15 pm. The march will start at East 140 Street off St. Clair Avenue. The march will end at East 156 Street and St. Clair.
The young people at the Cleveland Job Corps said “No more violence!” “Stop the violence!” “Stop Killing Our Family!” They asked members of Black on Black Crime Inc., the Black Man’s Army, Survivors/Victims of Tragedy, Inc. and the First Ladies Dynasti Social Club to march with them.
This Youth Led Peace Walk is right on time. Two teenagers were shot on East 117 and St. Clair just a few weeks ago. One victim might not walk again. They were also inspired by other marches held this year, such as, the march on Harvard Avenue to Warrensville Center Road, the march on Lakeview and Ada Avenues, the march up St. Clair from East 123 to East 146, the march up Central to East 55 Street and back around, and the march at the Woodland and Kinsman intersection at East 55 Street.

It’s Been Two Years Since Monica Curry and Earl Norman Were Murdered
– The Murders Are Still Unsolved

Family and friends will gather again two years after their beloved family members — their parent, or son, or daughter was killed. Senseless murders have continued since these murders. When will we embrace love and respect and stop killing our family, our friends, our neighbors?
Many will meet again to remember Monica and Earl.

The Ugliness of Domestic Violence Strikes Again

Shouldn’t We be Safe at Home?

Theresa aka “Dazy” Adair was a lovely young woman. She was fun loving and was loved by a lot of people. Her family will have a candlelight vigil for her at the house where they grew up. They will be joined by many friends.
Ms. Adair was viciously attacked in her home. Her family says it’s time to end violence against women. A man who is a real man does not hit women.
Join us as we gather with family and friends and try to bring them some comfort.

RE: Candlelight Vigil for Ramon D. Burnett, Jr.
Family and friends will gather in memory of Ramon D. Burnett, Jr. (5) who was killed when a coward fired a bullet that flew from the street into the inner courtyard where he was playing. His family is devastated by this atrocity.
We will also accept donations at the vigil to be given directly to the family to help with burial expenses. The family has also established a “go fund me account” in the name of “5 Year Old Ramon Burnett Funeral.”
Let’s come together with this family to try to bring our prayers and whatever comfort is possible, as we remember this baby who was ripped from his family by thoughtless, senseless violence. Thank you.
