RE: Memorial Remembrance for Scottie Thornton (21)

Friends and family are coming together to remember Scottie Thornton, Jr. (21) who was killed last month. His family believes he was robbed, which led to his death. Please spread the word and join us to pass out flyers to the community which may help lead to any clues on this case.
Scottie attended Shaw High School in East Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated in 2012. Immediately after graduating high school, he enrolled at Allegheny College where he played football. After a short stay there, due to a knee injury, his intention was to transfer to Ashland University this upcoming semester to play football.
Scottie attended college on both academic and athletic scholarships. He has always carried a 4.0 grade point average. His major was Architect Engineering. After graduating from college, his plan was to move to Georgia or New York to design buildings and bridges.
He had a loving spirit and he loved being around family and friends. He was a true friend and always tried to help others in need. Scottie’s life, energy, and accomplishments touched many people who will miss him• dearly.
Please join us as we try to bring comfort to his family and plead for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible. We are asking for volunteers to help us pass out flyers in the community that could possibly lead to any clues surrounding the death of Scottie Thornton.
