RE: Kudos for Finally Giving East Clevelanders Respect Concerning
The 137 Shot Tragedy

We, the East Cleveland residents, for a long time, thought the legal proceedings concerning the murders of Timothy and Malissa in the Heritage Middle School parking lot should have been tried in East Cleveland. We are glad that the Ohio Supreme Court has agreed with the residents and ruled that Judge William Dawson can decide the fate of the five supervisors who were involved in this tragic event.

RE: Death of Ta’naejah McCloud (5)

The Family of Ta’Naejah McCloud, along with Community Activists and Organizations, are asking for the community to come out and support the family as they begin to fight for justice for 5 year old Ta’Naejah McCloud.
The family wants to bring awareness to the fact that so many children are being left to fend for themselves when a system that’s supposed to protect them fails them! Ta’naejah McCloud is no longer here, but we are now her voice!
Ta’Naejah’s story has to be shared to save the lives of other children that are under the supervision of CPS from having to endure the abuse Ta’Naejah went through everyday of her life, up until she was brutally murdered.
We demand to know why East Cleveland police refused to do a wellness/safety check on Ta’naejah McCloud in October of 2016 when the abuse was first reported.
We demand to know why the CPS worker refused to open an investigation against Ta’Naejah’s abusers.
Ta’naejah McCloud didn’t have to die. She should’ve been saved.
The system is broke and needs to be revised and reformed.
The CPS worker should be held just as accountable as Ta’Naejah’s abusers.
If you are a parent, caregiver, or guardian….if you are a social worker, or child advocacy worker, or even a youth mentor your presence is needed.
Ta’Naejah McCloud lost her life. The CPS System may not care but we care!

Justice for Ta’Naejah McCloud. April 5th 2017 at 3pm Jane Edna Hunter Building 3955 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115
